My name is Joe Mitchell and I am a lifelong resident of North Branch, Michigan. I have been teaching in North Branch for 16 years.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Grand Valley State University with a Social Studies major and English minor. I also have a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Michigan-Flint.

My wonderful wife Nicole earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint. We are the proud parents of 4 great children; Ava (12), Eli (11), and twins Jonah and Samuel (9).

I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting and fishing, and golf; just being outdoors.
