COMPASS - Gifted and Accelerated Learning North Branch Area Schools is very excited to continue it's Gifted and Accelerated initiative into the 2018-2019 school year for 3rd through 5th grade students, The COMPASS (Creating Opportunities to Meet Potential And Stretch Skills) program was established in 2017 and has been designed to uniquely meet the needs of our gifted/accelerated learners.

COMPASS Team (5th grade - New for 18-19) - Housed in the Ruth Fox Elementary - Accelerated Curriculum - Technology integration (IPADS, Chromebooks) - Project Learning

Application Process

  1. Complete the online parent application (link)
  2. Send into the NBE office, the $10 assessment fee, in a "COMPASS" marked envelope, with your child's name. Checks may be made out of "NBAS". Assessment scholarships are available, contact Mr. Terauds for more info.
  3. Your child will be assessed during school, unless you are a current out of district family that will be applying Schools of Choice.
