Kids Read Now: Books Mailed Home for BK -5th Grade Students Over the Summer of 2025

As a result of the MI Kids Back on Track Grant, North Branch Area Schools is excited to announce that all BK - 5th grade students will have a second year of books being mailed home this summer from the non-profit organization, Kids Read Now! With teacher support, students selected their books at school. Their first book will be sent home with them from school with the remaining books to be mailed home throughout the summer. *Students may have up to 5-8 books mailed depending on their selection.* Students will keep these books to grow their at-home library.

Each book your child receives has a discovery sheet on the front inside cover. There are four discussion questions and a book code with reporting instructions if you would like your child to receive an incentive prize in the fall for reading all of their books.

*NOTE: parents can download the Kids Read Now (KRN) app to report completion of each book read.

Please review the resources below to have a better understanding of this AMAZING summer learning opportunity for your child.
