Filkins, Mrs. (Special Education)

Welcome to Mrs. Filkins' Website
I am the teacher of the High School Moderate Cognitive Impairment classroom.  In my classroom we work on basic life and daily living skills, such as cooking, personal finance, and personal information forms.  We also learn skills required for gaining and maintaining employment, such as completing job applications.  Some of our older students are often involved in community-based work experiences outside of the school setting.  We have a lot of fun participating in a variety of Special Olympics events.

If you need to reach me please call 688-3001 ext. 2130 or email me at
