North Banch Early College

Early College

The North Branch Early College (NBEC) is an exciting program for high school students who want to get a jumpstart on their college education and their careers. In this three-year, career-focused program, students participate in an integrated sequence of high school and college courses with no out-of-pocket cost for books, fees and tuition.

North Branch Early College consists of:

  • 11-12th grade students enter a college program while still in high school.
  • Students may complete the program with an associate’s degree in three years (grades 11, 12, and 13) or transfer their credits to a university.
  • Students completing the program are poised to move ahead of a traditional schedule toward degrees or technical certificates that match the students’ chosen career pathways.

Upon completion of their fifth year, students will graduate high school with one of the following:

  • An Associate Degree
  • The Michigan Early/Middle College Association (MEMCA) Technical Certification
  • Up to 60 Transferable College Credits

The North Branch Early College is proud to partnership with Baker College, Mott Community College and Rochester University and Macomb Community College to provide the college courses.
