FABS is open from 6 AM until 6:30 PM

We charge $3.50 per child per hour, based on attendance. The maximum daily charge is $35.00 per day.

FABS is closed on the following holidays:

• Labor Day

• Thanksgiving Break

• Christmas Break

• Easter Break

• Memorial Day

• 4th of July

We are open on school days off for teacher professional development days. We also open for half-days, snow days, and during the summer, provided we have enough enrollment and attendance to do so.

Payment Options

We offer several convenient ways to pay:

• Cash: Please place cash payments in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the date, your name, your child's name, and the amount enclosed.

• Check or Money Order: Make checks or money orders payable to North Branch Area Schools or N.B.A.S.

• Brightwheel App: You can also make payments directly through the Brightwheel App.

Receipts will be issued to the name on the check or the parent named on the cash envelope. You can view all current invoices and receipts anytime on the Brightwheel App.

Parents are responsible for providing their child's meals.

During the school year: Your child has the option to eat breakfast and/or lunch from the school cafeteria. FABS also now participates in the CACFP food program, so a free snack will be served after school.

During the summer: Please pack daily breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks for your child.

Sometime in April - Summer registrations packets will be available at the center and online.

Yes, all children attending FABS during the summer must register for the summer program. Please review the child information and permission and agreement forms for accuracy, and complete a summer registration form. There's a $5 registration fee per child.

Additionally, any student planning to attend field trips needs a FABS t-shirt. If your child doesn't have one or has outgrown last year's, you can purchase a shirt during enrollment.

They will ride a Dean Transportation bus to and from Ruth Fox the The Early Learning Center. 

Park in the small lot off of Banker street. Walk to door #6 to pick-up or drop-off your child(ren). 

Yes, FABS does accept DHS child care assistance. However, please note that all child care fees are the parent's (or caregiver's) responsibility until official DHS approval is received.

If parents arrange bus transportation through the Transportation Department at (810)688-3660, FABS can help students get off the bus in the morning or on the bus in the afternoon.
