Details of the Program:

Cost:   $80 course.  Payment must be received prior to the first day of class.

Registration & Orientation:

Every student MUST attend orientation and pay in full to enroll in summer school regardless as to whether they have completed summer school in years past.  Times will be:

Monday, June 20th 5pm to 8pm and Tuesday, June 21st from 8:00am to 1:00pm

Orientation will take approximately 1 hour.  A parent/guardian is expected to be in attendance with the student.  Session placement is NOT guaranteed until you have attended orientation.

Orientation as well as Summer School classes will be held in the 2nd story computer lab in the Old Jefferson Building at Quest High School on Jefferson Street.

Time:  Summer school classes tentatively begin June 22nd and conclude no later than August 5th.  A specific class schedule will be provided to you at orientation.  There are approximately 15-20 spots available for each session.  The following sessions will be offered:

AM     7:15am - 11:15am       PM      11:15am - 3:15pm

**NOTE: If we exceed capacity, we may convert to a 3 session format, 3 hours each.

Session assignments will be based on need and availability, and will be done at the discretion of the instructor. Every effort will be made to give students/parents their desired session.  Your chances of obtaining your desired placement will be much greater the sooner you arrive during orientations.  (Please note:  If we do not have enough students sign up to justify all three sessions, we will only offer the AM and PM sessions and the LATE session will be cancelled)

*Before a student is enrolled in the NBAS’s Summer School Program, permission must be obtained from their school guidance counselor and parent/caregiver.  For questions regarding credit recovery through Edgenuity (our online curriculum), please E-Mail Mr. Corey Rosser at [email protected].  Every effort will be made to return e-mails and phone calls as soon as possible, but please understand that after June 10th most staff will be on summer vacation and messages may not be checked daily.  If you do not have access to e-mail you can call at 810-688-7581 ext. 2820.
